Why does it feel like society has been exhibiting some strange behavior?

These changes are like nothing ever seen before in the history of civilization. People are behaving in extremely selfish and inconsiderate ways. Why?

Selfishness is somewhat inherent in our instincts, the need for survival. At the early stage of civilization development, acts of selfishness for the survival of our offspring were necessary.

Could the need for attention have developed along with the development of society? This question needs to be studied.

People’s need for attention grew along with society

The need for attention has complex and social causes and is influenced by various factors.

Earlier in small societies, individuals would not have the need and opportunities to seek attention. For some reason, it has increased as they grew larger. In smaller societies, communities were closer and knew one another personally.

Interacting and knowing family and your neighbors, there was no need to seek attention. The interactions with the community…
