The thing I, find the hardest to understand is the contradictions from so many different writers.

Some say don't tell, show. Others say tell, don't show.

The only thing I get out of all the advise, is it's all subjective.

For some reason, I see so much crap (including my own) on Medium, and it can get large numbers.

Not only is the writing not so good the topics defy all of the rules.

I still get the feeling it matters more who reads your work and who recommends it.

It alway seem, in life if your in the right group and endorsed by the right people you could stink like s**t and be a star.

How do you explain it?
