How do words perform their magic?
Where’s the connection come from?
Before taking a serious attempt at writing, I have never given words any significant consideration.
On an average day in your life, who does? Talking to someone, how often do you give special attention to your choice of words? For most of my life, I have to say I didn’t.
But as I’m learning more about writing, I agonize over words constantly. Any time you’re talking with someone, how often do think about your choice of words? Are you considering your choice of words best expresses the message you want to deliver?
To understand this better, I have to go back to the beginning, when we first start talking.
The whole concept of communication has so many complex parts it’s incredible.
Can you say, Mama, what about Papa?

I don’t remember my first words, going by my experience watching babies and their parents, this is a typical beginning. I learned, this was not for the child, but for the parents. Everyone enjoys hearing their name, don’t ask me why.
