Is politics disrupting your life?

It’s now infected everything.

Politics is something I would prefer not to write about. In today’s climate, it’s become impossible to avoid. Like a virus, it infects everyone’s life.

Being such a subjective topic makes it all the more insidious. This plague has disrupted all of humanity.

How did we get here, and is there a cure?

Thinking the best place to start is at the beginning.

What is Politics?

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

Politics: plural noun [treated as singular or plural] the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power.
