Today I want to write about me. Selfish I know. But I was inspired today by an article I just read on Medium.

The article was on the topic of keeping a journal.

It went on to say by keeping a daily journal the author was able to gain greater insight into themselves.

That started me thinking. I’ve have most of my life, focused on self-improvement. I believe and understand it’s within us to be the person we want to be and enjoy the life we want to live.

I spent my life searching for that elusive feeling of contentment. Of reaching that place where you’re finally at peace. Peace with yourself your relationships, your surroundings, your life.

I Should Have Known Better.

Yes, I should have known better. Throughout my life, I studied self-improvement books and courses. The one thing they all recommend is to start and keep a journal. To go through the process of writing it down. In a book or diary.

I understood the reasons the gave. But for no reason but laziness I never did it, Wait I did start on right after reading “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.

I remember it started with stating your “Lifes Goals and Desires”. I placed that on the first page. In capital…
