The Christmas Tree and why its a symbol of Christianity

I’m sure many have never given it a thought.

Christmas is the festive season Filled with hope and joy. Many celebrate with decorations regardless of their religion and faith. The center that marks the season above all others is the Christmas Tree.

Often I’m surprised how many people, including Christians, don’t know why the evergreen tree was selected to represent Christmas.

Christians should know, that others might not be aware of the teachings and practice of the faith. Christian followers hold the belief by living a Christian life when you die, you will have everlasting life.

The evergreen tree remains green and alive all year long this is why the symbol reflects the belief.

There’s quite a bit more to the history I thought some might be interested in knowing.

I personally find it an offense that it’s become the practice of cutting down and killing a living tree to celebrate and represent Christmas.
