Yes, it was long. But a topic that needs to be discussed. It needs to be brought to the people, beyond the voice of the media pendants and politicians I don't believe that majority of the people are as divided as they would like us all to believe. I see a big part of the problem comes from having only a binary choice.
This is in direct conflict with nature and the universe.
Politicians and multinational corporations want to push in that direction. for their financial gains.
Through their control of the media and their willingness to do their bidding, we have lost a free and objective voice to keep the citizens informed.
I know there are alternative sources of media out there. Most are partisan as well. Trying also to use it for some personal gain.
Throughout this debate, there's little discussion of a large group that lies in the middle of the two parties. They seem to only be considered at election time.
The lone independents. Often casting the deciding vote.
It's appeared that the loudest voices on both sides are the ones looking for some personal or financial gains.
And both sides are willing to sell out their constitutes to get what they want.
Regardless of the consequences are, as long as they can get what they want.
Always working on the premise of united we stand, divided they win.
This is something I have given much thought to as well.
If and when some honest and truly objective (as one can be) people come together they will find that there's a solution to this already in place. It's the state's rights as outlined in Article X of the constitution.
The problem comes from thinking things have to be absolute. The move to centralize all power and authority to the federal government. It is fatally flawed from conception.
The reason and simplest way to explain it is, there are no two things, People, Places, and Things completely the same. That's physics Period.
There has yet to be a government, family, or couple that think and act, completely the same.
What part don't we want to except, why is it that some want to cast everyone in the same mole.
Sorry, I guess I went a little long two, I too can go on further with this subject.
Thank you for this article. I agree this subject needs to be addressed, and soon.
